The 2009 Academy of Management theme “Green Management Matters” brought a timely and much-needed focus to our domain of corporations and their role in the global sustainability movement.  Thanks so much to all of the presenters, reviewers, session chairs and participants; Chicago was a true success!

I’m delighted to have the opportunity to serve as ONE Division Chair for the upcoming year.  And I feel very fortunate to have Magali Delmas (Chair Elect), Jorge Rivera (Program Chair), Andy Hoffman (Program Chair Elect), and Perry Sadorsky (Treasurer) at the helm with me.

Thank you for being part of the ONE Division – the Division that makes a difference!

O.N.E. Podcasts

Global sustainability is a complex, multidimensional concept that cannot be addressed by any single corporate action. Given the magnitude of the environmental issues we now face, a host of stakeholders including business, government, non-governmental organizations, aboriginal peoples, and civil society are becoming more and more involved in pressuring those with power and influence to incorporate the added constraints of environmental pressures as well as consider future generations. Information on best management practices from around the world and from leading management/ONE thinkers in this field is needed.  The ONE Division is proud to share the following two podcasts from leading ONE thinkers as a start to share thinking on environmental issues and management perspectives from around the world.
